About Us

Our Club has a varied membership of around 40 players drawn from Winkleigh and surrounding villages.

Members range from established County players to complete beginners taking their first steps in this fun sport.  

Social Club sessions known as "Roll Ups" are held every Monday and Friday afternoon.

We run a total of 11 teams, competing in 5 different Leagues as well as Cup competitions and local tournaments.

Games are played both during the afternoon and evening.

We have been very successful over the years with many Championships and Titles to our credit.

We are affiliated with both the English Short Mat Bowls Association and the Devon County Short Mat Bowls Association
